BECCA & BENTON

A chic & modern wedding with just the right amount of traditional details thrown in. B&B got married at The Admirals House overlooking Elliot Bay & the Seattle skyline. Our team worked alongside A Renee Weddings to create a very intentional design throughout the day featuring modern, neutral florals, bold black pops in the design details & quintessential wedding details like Benton’s white dinner jacket.

For the florals we used lots of seasonal blooms - clematis, agrostemma, fairy roses, small world dahlias & echinacea. With white anthurium & small white phaelonpsis orchids bringing in that modern feel. We used charcoal marble vessels on the tables & our custom black iron grid for their ceremony backdrop which really added to the finishing touches overall.

The neutral but lush floral installs married the garden setting with the formal black tie event so well. Although some may say a neutral color palette isn’t as original as playing with color schemes. I have to say, I can’t get enough! Playing with white florals allows for so much textural & shape play within the arrangements & sometimes the subtle variety of organic white tones can be just as visually impactful as a broader palette.

The day was beautifully captured by Kristen Marie Parker. We can’t help but look back at these images time & time again, especially with that gorgeous Seattle setting & sunshine. The Admirals House has become a favorite Seattle venue of ours - it’s the perfect summer garden space.

If I had to pick a favorite detail from this day it would be the ceremony backdrop! It suited the space so well & flowed with the tent installs & bouquets while also feeling fresh & a little different. We’ll never tire of arbors, but sometimes it’s fun to place with something a little more unexpected!
